#2976: program wont work on mu i7

the program will not start-up ( freezes) with my i7 laptop 3.0 ghz the
resolution is 1600x900 i have 8G simms and 5G radeon video card. i am
clueless on the procedures for reporting this issue and am not able to
provide additional screen shots p am running win 7 but the issue seems to
be with this laptop it runs on my other laptop. tom
tested several versions and it seems not to work (all get hung-up)
