This is a pretty simple one to fix, but unfortunately I can't easily show
you a picture because it would look exactly the same as a normal
screenshot.
The problem is thus: When ordered over long distances (for instance, from
one side of the map to the other), VTOLs will periodically "freeze" mid
flight before resuming. On return to base orders, they will sometimes
freeze until issued a new order. It appears to have nothing to do with the
terrain as the VTOLs have frozen over passable ground as often as
impassible. It has the problem of making VTOL more or less worthless as
this bug occasionally causes them to freeze within line of fire of enemies
who can shoot back at them.
