#4525: error during campaign (first several missions)

I can play through for variable amounts of time before I start getting the
error
[callfunction 186] 1:<global> () at -1
Then once it starts, it happens quite frequently. It appeared at one point
to prevent a mission from being completable. Version 3.2.1 (both regular
and portable). Any ideas?
