Colour fringing as EvilGuru described it in his excellent
[https://freddie.witherden.org/pages/font-rasterisation/#sub-pixel-
rendering Treatise on Font Rasterisation] is present in 3.2.3 font
rendering (likely also 3.2.x). See the attached images comparing with the
3.1.2 main menu and the 3.2.3 main menu.
Relevant (?) system information: Ubuntu 16.04, Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000.
