#4822: TCP/IP Port ---------------------------------------+------------------------- Reporter: prot | Owner: Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: unspecified Component: Engine: Networking | Version: unspecified Operating System: All/Non-Specific | ---------------------------------------+------------------------- After changing the port number in the configuration file, the multiplayer lobby is no longer available. How to reproduce: In file ~/.warzone2100-3.2/config Change line "gameserver_port=2100" from 2100 to any other, like 2102 for example. When creating a host game, the game listens to the settled port and can connect via IP directly bypassing the Lobby server, but the problem is likely in the Lobby server it self.
History of the problem: the Inability to create games on a local network, more than one machine at a time. Extra problems with NAT. Each game requires an extra external IP address. Although just changing the port, it would be possible to run several games on the same local network. -- Ticket URL: <http://developer.wz2100.net/ticket/4822> Warzone 2100 Trac <http://developer.wz2100.net/> The Warzone 2100 Project ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot _______________________________________________ Warzone2100-project mailing list Warzone2100-project@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/warzone2100-project
