Brett: If you believe the win32ole.so fix is simple, please please fix the core code so we don't have to hack watir every time a new release comes out. I'm running the Watir on multiple machines and there is a big overhead to editing the code directly in the field.
Also please fix the modal dialog errors, which are documented here. http://groups.google.com/group/watir-general/browse_frm/thread/70eb6f6d6c865d64 The fix is trivial - just append "unless RUBY_PLATFORM = 'i386- cygwin'" to a couple of lines. Cygwin is an important platform and I know that others will benefit - just this evening I was corresponding with 2 other cygwin users that have been hit by the same bugs... Thanks!
