Madhu, One additional word of advice. Don't use notepad to write your Ruby/Watir scripts, there are much better tools out there.
If you installed Ruby via the One-click installer, it also installed ScITE. Look under your ruby install directory to find it. That version is downrev, but still works fine. You can download the current version at: http://www.scintilla.org/SciTE.html You may also want to check out any of thse other Free IDE's: Aptana http://www.aptana.com/ FreeRIDE http://freeride.rubyforge.org/wiki/wiki.pl RDE http://homepage2.nifty.com/sakazuki/rde_en/index.html TestWise (Community) http://itest2.com/ Joe On Aug 11, 12:32 am, madhu kumar <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi, > > Hi have installed watir 1.8.6 in windows xp. its working fine in in > irb command prompt.
