I ran into this message today trying to install watir 1.6.5 on ruby
1.8.6. This was on a completely fresh installation of Ruby 1.8.6
(patchlevel 111). Hopefully you aren’t in a situation where you have
to do this, but if you do, just install an earlier version of
activesupport. I used 2.3.9, but 2.3.10 is the last in v2. Seems
like it’s a good thing that we are trying to get off of depending on
activesupport.
C:\ >gem install watir -v 1.6.5 --no-rdoc --no-ri
