Reporting this here because I'm not sure where else to post it and also
because it's perhaps already been reported as a bug.

I have a web page that contains tab-delimited text.

When I go to that page using Watir and the following code...

x = browser.text
p x

The output I get looks like this:

"INFO\t2011-06-27\t14:50:00\t64.134.184.142\tuiderror\t3553\t\tlanding\t1\t1309200599590:7661643759616469\tiobox42\t0\tn/a\t0\tUnknown..."

Notice the escaped tabs. That's the important part.

Now, if I use Watir-webdriver and go to the same page and use that exact
same code, here is my output:

"INFO 2011-06-27 14:50:00 64.134.184.142 uiderror 3553  landing 1
1309200599590:7661643759616469 iobox42 0 n/a 0 Unknown..."

See? The tabs are converted to spaces. That's bad, because I am parsing
this output as tab-delimited. Switching to space-delimited isn't really
feasible because there are lines in the output that have spaces.
