Include isn't doing what you think it is. read this: http://wiki.openqa.org/display/WTR/include+Watir If you are using watir-webdriver, it has all the functionality you need, and since many of the methods and objects etc have the same name, it's just going to hopelessly confuse your poor system if you try to use both at the same time inside your scripts.
