Looks like SelectList#set was deprecated. What to you mean by "too huge to be modified"? I am just working on updating a huge project (and I do mean huge) from watir 1.6.2 (do not ask) to 3.0. Good IDE with regex search/replace support (rubymine for example), version control and running all tests after a major change and nothing is too huge. If you have specific problems, ask.
