I'm thinking about moving from Selenium with C# to TestWise with Watir. As a non-techie, I need (a) a recorder, and (b) an IDE. It seems to me that Watir code (and the higher-level RWebSpec) is much shorter than C#, and therefore easier to learn and use. I seem to spend hours looking for C# code snippets on StackOverflow and other forums :( On Saturday, December 8, 2012 4:06:31 PM UTC, Oscar.Rieken wrote: > > might be a good idea to look at how the api is before you try and use java > in ruby :) > my assumption is that you have a java background because of the get_text() > > http://watir.github.com/watir-webdriver/doc/Watir/Element.html > > > On Sat, Dec 8, 2012 at 9:15 AM, Željko Filipin > <[email protected]<javascript:> > > wrote: > >> On Sat, Dec 8, 2012 at 3:09 PM, OldGrantonian >> <[email protected]<javascript:> >> > wrote: >> >>> Many thanks for the prompt response :) >>> >> >> I am glad I could help. :) >> >> Željko >> >> -- >> Before posting, please read http://watir.com/support.
