I think you're approaching this the wrong way. If you're navigating to a new page after the click, then there's not really anything you have to do to force it to wait, unless you're dealing with some javascript after the page has loaded. What it looks like you're running into is a really long page load, and that the selenium client is timing out. Interestingly enough Chuck posted this question and the solution is on stackoverflow :). You're probably going to want to get to the bottom of why it's taking a web page more than 5 minutes to load however.
