Yeah it works now, the code I have written below, but geckodriver is not 
selecting a select list which is being selected right now after I have made 
this change. What might be the problem? Is it the problem in the 
geckodriver?

caps = Selenium::WebDriver::Remote::Capabilities.firefox(marionette: false)


b=Watir::Browser.new :firefox, desired_capabilities: caps
