the wave server had been on for a while, i had created a new user. then tried
to add this user to a wave that was created before them. the wave did not show
up in there inbox. upon restarting the wave server the new user could see the
waves they had been added to.
alown suggested the bug is in the lucene code then. (As are many of the other
bugs relating to problems with Waves not appearing in inboxes).
