My favorite thing about wave is the ability to mix document use cases with informal dialogue.
Here are two use cases: Use case 1: A friend and I play correspondence chess. The current game is at the top of the wave. When games are finished the moves are copied down below the gadget (in the same wavelet). The board is then reset for the next game. Often We'll carry on a conversation that may or may not have to do with the game. Use case 2: Occasionally my extended family will plan a family event (reunion...). A wave is created. At the top of the wave an outline of the plan is started. The plan is discussed informally with "Click here to reply" replies. Problem: The "Click here to reply" wavelets quickly flow off the screen making them unusable (in a practical way). Solution: I have no idea what a complete solution would be. How do you anticipate what the user wants? It needs to be done without them knowing they need it. One thing that seems needed is a "click here to reply" that pushes old replies down. Maybe the "Click here to reply" prompt could appear both above and below the message chain. Has anyone had this experience? What needs to be done? Scott
