Hi there,

We are glad to present our project Kune, which now integrates Wave in a
Box.

Kune is free software (AGPLv3) that focuses on collective collaboration
and free web contents using waves.

Kune is very focused in free/libre culture while attempting to empower
social movements. You can check out a summary about Kune goals in our
dev website:
http://kune.ourproject.org/
and play with a demo here:
http://kune.beta.iepala.es/ws/

Kune comes from our efforts in 2007-09, but when Wave appeared we
decided to postpone everything in order to integrate it. Details on this
post:
http://kune.ourproject.org/2011/01/status-jan2011/

Kune attempts to create a piece of software with new added value based
on our experience with our initiative:
http://ourproject.org
since 2002:
https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Ourproject.org
with the support of IEPALA (http://www.iepala.es/) and their experiences
in Red EuroSur and Gloobal (http://www.gloobal.net), and under the frame
of the Comunes Collective (http://comunes.org).

Kune is supported by a pretty small community:
http://kune.ourproject.org/credits/
with very few developers and resources:
https://www.ohloh.net/p/kune/contributors
Thus, if by any chance Kune sounds interesting to you, maybe you might
consider participating:
http://kune.ourproject.org/join/

Kune wouldn't be possible in its current state without WIAB. We would
like to thank its community of developers for such an amazing work. We
are trying to contribute to it directly (committing) and indirectly
(with Kune), as we are convinced of its potentials.

Feedback, comments (and patches) are welcome.

Cheers,

Vicente (in the name of the kune/ourproject team)
