Wow Tad you are awesome! Let me see if I understand this:
If I want to run a client from a remote machine, I need to have the following in my RUN-SERVER: --client_frontend_hostname=(LOCAL SERVER NAME) --client_frontend_port=9876 ^ And in my RUN-CLIENT: set WAVE_SERVER_HOSTNAME=(LOCAL SERVER NAME) set WAVE_SERVER_PORT=9876 and have port 9876 open on my firewall. So I did ntah, and I am able to connect a client on a remote machine and a client on a local machine. HOWEVER, now when I type /new on either client, I can not get a new wave: After a whole bunch of what looks like SSL delta stuff: Nov 7, 2009 3:34:37 PM org.waveprotocol.wave.examples.fedone.federation.xmpp.XmppFederationHost $SubmitResponsePacketListener onFailure WARNING: submit request to waveserver failed: Remote users may not create wavelets. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Wave Protocol" group.
