According to your log, wave.wavesandbox.com acknowledged your commit
notice, but hadn;t yet acked your delta.

When I do the same thing, I see acks for the delta and commit notice,
plus a history request from wave.wavesandbox.com

I'm also using StartSSL certs.

I sent a wave to your sandbox account, did you get it?
