Using a StartSSL cert is the safest route because they have been shown to work with XMPP servers and they offer free ones to XMPP folks :) You can use any cert really that works with SSL - it's just tougher to find the small details to make them work IMO - StartSSL has it all laid out. > Port wise, do I only need to open up 5269 (and the wave client port) - > the s2s port for Jabber, or are there some others that need to be > opened as well?
