I too would like MySQL if only to easily integrate in to my existing
distributed servers (with backup), but any persistence would be very
much welcomed.

I had started an article on wave compass the other day (
http://www.wavecompass.net/view/FedOne_Development ) but no one has
added links to working groups.  I know a number of people are working
on different parts of the code, but they seem to be working
independently plus a little discussion here.  I would love to read
along with your progress, even if it is just simple commit comments,
so that I can better learn java in particular and the fedone code in
general.
