More than likely, it's spam. Spammers have seized on google groups en mass. That's because anyone can sign up. The ones that used to say things like "pretty girls" and so forth get snatched by spam filters, but they are getting much more clever with terms like "silly" or "fun" that will eventually get snatched, causing lots of false positives in spams.
