Hey, I got this today as well. I had no trouble federating yesterday. I put some extra logging in to see what was occurring in my case. Essentially, the disco requests timed out and were removed at the point that the sandbox responded. It always takes the sandbox an inordinate amount of time to respond to my server, but it usually completes. I figured it had to do with running on top of Windows 2003 server. I'm using OpenFire btw. I'm going to extend the timeout to see if that allows me to connect.
