I've noticed that when you insert a link to a wave message using the editor in Wave Sandbox that it inserts a link/manual annotation with a protocol of waveid://. What is the link/wave annotation used for? I presumed it was for linking to other waves, but that appears not to be the case. Has it been deprecated?
