Of course you can [run a GWave server on your LAN, and remotely
connect with multiple web clients (in your LAN) to your GWave
server].
You just have to modify the WAVE_SERVER_HOSTNAME &
WEBSOCKET_SERVER_HOSTNAME values from 'localhost' or 'compName' to
your IP, as pointed in another thread.
