No, this is what the web server returns when you just browse to localhost:9898 :
<html><head><meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">
<title>FedOne Web Client</title>
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="/static/favicon.ico">
<script type="text/javascript" language="javascript">
var __session = {"domain":"sephsmac.local"};
var __client_flags = {};
</script>
<script type="text/javascript" language="javascript"
src="webclient/webclient.nocache.js"></script></head>
...
Notice the __session and __client_flags in there - you need to get
them in your client.
... Though I still don't understand why you can't just run the server locally.
