I wondered, as of this date, what connection methods are supported by
the current version of the server.
Is it just websockets now, or is there still support for other
methods? (to login, retrieve waves, and edit blips etc)

Will this support persist, or is it depreciated and to be phased out?

I'm particularly interested as we are developing a Android phone based
use of wfp, and websockets seem heavier then the old method. We are
thus trying to figure out where best to aim our development - to try
to push past our problems with websockets, or to use another method if
one still exists/will still exist. (and preferably has examples
compatible with the new server)

Thanks,
Thomas
