The compile on the Dell Inspiron was without mongodb.  I had compiled
mongodb on another Intel based server previously.  I'm emerging mongodb
right now, had to add entries in my /etc/portage/package.keyword for mongdb
and spidermonkey.

I'll update with my findings.
