Hi everyone, We're just wrapping up the Wave Summit in San Francisco. More details on the summit & Wave in a Box progress in this blogpost: http://googlewavedev.blogspot.com/2010/11/this-weeks-wave-protocol-summit-updates.html
Beyond hacking on Wave in a Box, one of the things we've been working on is a proposal to create a project in the Apache Software Foundation's incubator for Wave in a Box. Apache is well known for fostering healthy communities that create good open source software. The incubator is a good entry-point for a project like Wave in a Box as it is specifically setup to encourage meritocracy as the means for growing a diverse set of contributors. Here are some related documents from the ASF: - How the ASF works: http://www.apache.org/foundation/how-it-works.html - ASF Incubation Policy: http://incubator.apache.org/incubation/Incubation_Policy.html - Process for a proposal: http://incubator.apache.org/incubation/Incubation_Policy.html#Proposal Please take a look at the proposal we've put together and provide inline replies with comments and questions: https://wave.google.com/wave/waveref/googlewave.com/w+nv8cf8_TD/~/conv+root/b+nv8cf8_TE Regards, -Dan P.S. The videos from the summit are being put online shortly. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Wave Protocol" group.
