In a Plasma 5.7 X11 session, in system settings, the following option is
exposed:
'disable touch and scroll only' under 'Disable touchpad while typing'.
The option has no effect. Cursor navigation while typing is not possible.
Possibly this option is exposed by the KCM, while not being supported by
libinput. In that case, please consider this a feature request.
Bug 96314 is related, but not the same.
