are you running wayland or xorg? if the latter, do you actually use libinput?
xinput list-props "device name" will tell you, check for the prefixes on the
properties.
in the log above there are exactly zero motion events from the touchpad (except
the initial sequence before typing starts). there are a few events from the
trackpoint (lines starting event2) but they're in the subpixel range and
shouldn't cause the pointer to move significantly.
