While I'm not so sure about adding this to desktop-shell, adding it to tablet-shell is a good idea and will make that a better example of how that kind of shell could work. However when I try to run this, tablet-shell just crashes for me. Is there something in weston.ini I need to set up? Can we make it so that we have a reasonable default for that so it's not necessary?
