Hi, To test the Wayland and Weston patches implementing wl_shell_surface_set_notification, you will need a native client.
The wayland backend of the nd plugin of eventd is my test code and it worked well so far. You will find it in the WIP branch of my dev repository: http://git.eventd.org/eventd/log/?h=wip/wayland This an unstable branch I often rebase, and it will be deleted once merged in master.
