Hi, we would prefer inline patches, easier to apply and review. I was going to ponder about how to structure this, like maybe keying off a command line switch also... But as I was trying to make distcheck pass, I found a very mysterious crash, that happens only if both weston-desktop-shell and weston-keyboard binaries are not found, and you do not run Weston through gdb or valgrind. I was almost tearing my head off half past five on a Friday evening, supposed to be doing a release, when I recalled this patch. You, sir, saved my day.
