wayland-protocols 1.48 is now available. This release adds one new staging protocol:
* XDG Session Management - allow clients to restore previous window
setups, including e.g. positions and window state.
It also contains one new minor protocol version:
* Text input - a set of long standing issues were resolved, see commits
for details.
Apart from this, the documentation for protocol stages and related
procedures were improved, and various protocols saw a set of useful
bug fixes and clarifications.
Since last release, three new experimental protocols were added as well:
* xx-cutouts, xx-zones, and xx-keyboard-filter
