Watching an episode of Gunsmoke today titled "Mad Dog," I noticed 4 TAGS
alums: George "Goober" Lindsey, Hoke "Dud Wash" Howell, Dub Taylor (several
TAGS roles, including the Circuit Preacher in "Mountain Wedding"), and
Denver "Briscoe" Pyle. George and Hoke were two of three brothers out to
kill Festus, while Denver played the doctor and Dub played a bartender. It
was BIG!
