I guess it goes without saying that I'd be very much like Aunt Bee if I
lived in Mayberry except I'd be willing to spell Sarah once in awhile if
she had to carry her mother somewhere. And I wouldn't mind writing a
column in the local paper for fun!

P.S. We had our annual Opie chapter Christmas Party in the home of Miss
Mayberry of Orlando and it was great. She and her sister visiting from
Ohio outdid themselves with decorations and refreshments! In attendance
for the first time were Tom and Kathy Rusk from Kissimmee and they are a
super fun couple!!

James Best who is best known as Sheriff Roscoe on the Dukes of Hazzard
also played Jim Lynsey on TAGS as you all I am sure know. I am
looking for a video he put out that he talked about his life and role
on the Dukes as well as other roles he played. His website no longer
sells it. Does anyone have any info or leads on this tape. Also it
would of been funny if Roscoe would of filled in for Andy on a show to
see what him and Barney would of got into . James Best and Don Knotts
are my favorite actors and I have met both of them so I guess my life
complete. I guess I give them the credit to why I got into Law
Enforcement. If I lived in Mayberry I would of course have to be part
of the Sheriffs Dept.
