I don`t write often, but wanted to share a tidbit of info to those
who are interested in our beloved guitar man from Mayberry...I live just
a few miles north of his hometown of Corydon, in. It may or may not
have come up before, but around the time of his popularity of "Dukes",
he had his own popcorn company based from his home area and the popcorn
was locally grown......just thought i would share that.....love the
site....look forward to it everyday.

Not a bad idea at all...all the nice female TAGS fans I know either live too
far from me or are married! Kind of a bummer when you're single and you can
only hope for what Barney and Thelma Lou have. :-)

BTW, remember the episode in which Barney is trying to fix up Andy, and does,
in fact, get him started dating Helen? Barney keeps inviting a large number
of women to Andy's place under the guise of Thelma Lou having something to
tell them. Kind of interesting that 1) Barney knew that many single women
and 2) there were that many nice, unattached women in Mayberry!

You are forgiven Paul. The Majic Lamp is my favorite episode. Floyd is
classic in this
one. And when Barney brings in the finger print set ,he wished for. One of
the best.

Allan,

That is so cool, that you got that phone call.
Congratulations.

Hope everybody on the Bulletin Board, had a safe
Holiday, and that all of you and your families are
with us today.

Also, I was looking at Rodney Dillards site,
http://www.mayberryvalues.com the other nite. It
indicated that coming soon, will be Mayberry Values
Bible Study material.
