I was up in Mt. Pilot last Friday (the 28th) and I saw Ferdie over at Mount Pilot Music. He was in the sheet music section looking for Keevy Hazelton's "Texarkana in the Morning", but was having no luck. Said he tried Weaver's and Bert Miller's stand but all they had was Lawrence Welk hits. I treated Ferdie to lunch at the J.J. Newberry's luncheonette and we got to talking about this past year and what the new year might have in store for us.
