Members,
While doing a little research on Mr Schwamp, I discovered that there are
three Mayberry alumni in the movie Christmas in Connecticut. If we can prove
it is in fact Mr Schwamp in the movie, that would be four alumni from TAGS.
Walter Baldwin, who appeared as Floyd in the first season of TAGS, played
Sheriff Potter, however was uncredited in the movie.
John Dehner, who played the medicine man who sold Aunt Bee her elixer on
TAGS, played a state trooper, and was also uncredited.
Finally, our first Mayberry Mayor, Dick Elliot appeared in the movie also.
Just some Mayberry trivia for you to file away.
