After reading the recent post regarding the obituary of Josef Meredith and
having it list him as being the son Cheerio Meredith, I thought I would do a
little undercover work to confirm it. I checked www.findagrave.com and found
Cheerio's listing. Then I began reading some of the memorial posts that
visitors leave. During July of 2007, there are a few posts to Cheerio that
mention Josef's passing. By all accounts, I have "deduced" that the Cheerio
Meredith listed in the obituary is in fact our beloved Emma. It also has a
photo of her headstone, which has that mystery inscription.
If you haven't visited www.findagrave.com, you should. It's very interesting
and they even have "posthumous" reunions from different shows.
