Here's part of an article I read about giraffes.
"What was thought to be one species of giraffe might actually be several,
scientists said today, raising concern that one or more of the species could be
on the brink of extinction."
We all know how these sad events have come about in the lives of giraffes.
Let us take these lessons to heart.
