After reading today's digest, I decided to ponder the question of how I'd
really feel if I saw my mother on the roof. If it happened today, I'd feel a
mixture of pride and worry since she's of a certain age. But if it had
happened back when I was a kitten, I think I'd have felt a bit confused as to
why she went up there without taking us with her. Although that may be the
answer for a busy mother to have some free time to herself.
