George Lindsey, AKA Goober, turns 72 today. Happy Birthday,Goob! From all my cats, Andy, Barney, Opie, Otis, and Lester,also my house cat, Blondie(right out of the bottle). Watching "Goober's Replacement" the other night, noticed the scene where Andy & Floyd stopped at Wally's to check up on Flora, and sometime much later when Goober pulled up, maybe the next day? are the same scene. Camera angles are slightly different, but the same cars are in the same places and the same 2 people are talking at the gas pumps. Just finished season 6, understand why Andy gets owly more in the color episodes. When Barney was there, he always could do a little trick to him to relieve his tension. After he left, I noticed Goober, Floyd, Aunt Bee, and Helen are badgering him constantly. He usually gave in to them, especially Helen, who knew when to give him the cold shoulder. Just an opinion.
