My daughter Melynn (age 7) and I were watching a Planet Earth (a nature show on The Discovery Channel) this morning. One segment was about seals; the next segment was about a lightning storm. She asked if the seals would get hit by the lightning. I said "You don't have to worry, seals are too close to the ground, and lightning strikes tall things. Now, if they was giraffes...."
