Going to Barney's pad over at Mrs. Mendelbright's boarding house to have some
chili n' crackers and
read True Crime magazines. I'm sure glad that Barney and Mrs. Mendelbright made
up and that he was given those
extra perks. Low-watt bulbs just don't cut it when you're trying to read those
magazines fine print, especially while hot-plate
chili vapors swirl about. Need to go by Foley's first to get some Saltines
'cause Barney only has Ritz.
Yup, a quiet night maybe, but a good one when spent with Barney over at Mrs.
Mendelbright's.
