Just recently, I was told otherwise, but that is okay, that still does not take away from the fact that I saw a blind man whistle that song. As a matter of fact, when my older daughter was getting married, just before walking her down the aisle, to break things up (because we were getting so emotional) I told her that I saw the man that whistled The Andy Griffith Show. By the way, I probably have told her and my other daughter 100's of times. All those times I probably, in a joking manner, irritated my daughters/wife and other friends. Well anyway it did not irritate my daughter at that time. It was more of a nostalgic time that did help relieve some emotion tension as we laugh. Oh by the way 4 years later, my other daughter got married and before we walked the aisle, my daughter asked me if I was going to say something. I then realized she was waiting for me to ask her the same question. My entire family has been a rerunners club way before we knew that there was such a thing. I could hardly tell you this story without getting teary eyed.
