My favorite episode where someone posed as a parent was in "Opie the Birdman" when Opie posed as a mama to Wynken, Blynken, and Nod. As far as I am concerned he should have received the "Mother of the Year Award" for the way he raised those orphaned little birds. He was indeed a real "tweetheart".
