Was watching the episode where the Darlings first come to Mayberry. Their truck is overheating and Brisco dips his hat in the horse trough to fill up the radiator. I paused the scene where he puts his hat in the water and noticed that it said 'NO HORSE WILL GO THIRSTY HERE...DAVID MENDLEBRIGHT. Wonder if that was Barney's landlord's father or grandfather? Had never noticed that on the trough before.
