I agree that TVLand is the same as any jother station that has reruns; mainly shows only a few years old. I rarely watch them except for TAGS. I wish that there was a tv station where we could view truly vintage television. And I think the 50 icon special was just more garbage Did I miss it or was Don Knotts left off. Agree about the Simpsons, and many others, that made the list.
Another thing, if Andy Griffith and the entire cast were so close and loving, how could there have been the mixup with Andy quitting the show after 5 years so that Don Knotts made his movie deal, when in fact, Andy stayed on. Major miscommunication that you wouldn't expect from people supposedly so close.
